About
Kat has been ice climbing since the age of six and has built extensive experience climbing primarily outdoor ice routes in the Cody, Wyoming area. Training mostly on natural ice, she has progressed to leading WI4 routes over the past several seasons. Kat made an impressive competitive debut at the 2026 Ouray Ice Festival, earning second place in her first-ever ice climbing competition. This season, she is excited to represent USA Ice Climbing as a member of the National Youth Team (U20) and continue developing as both a competitive and outdoor climber.
